Uploading audio to your library
One of the most powerful features of ReelCrafter is the ability to store your entire track library right in the app. Both the Starter and Professional plans allow unlimited tracks, so feel free to upload any tracks you anticipate using in reels (up to 20 minutes in length). That way you’ll always have everything you need to build reels on the fly, even if you’re not in your studio.
Upload your tracks
To upload tracks, navigate to the audio library by clicking “Audio” on the left navigation. Then you have two options:
- Click the “Upload Tracks” button or upload/cloud icon to browse your computer for files.
- Drag and drop tracks into the browser window while on the Tracks page.
ReelCrafter will queue up your tracks and then batch upload. You will see the upload progress for each track and can cancel any uploads by clicking the 'X' next to the track name. Once they reach our servers, each track will be transcoded to 256kbps CBR MP3 format.
For the best playback quality, we recommend uploading uncompressed files, such as WAV or AIFF, and at least 44.1kHz/16-bit sample rate and bit depth.
Accepted file types:
- AIFF (preferred for quality; best for metadata support)
- WAV (preferred for quality)
- AAC
- MP3
