Text: Add a custom message or additional info
The Text block adds formatted text to your reel. Use it for introductions, descriptions, credits, or any custom message.

Formatting options
The toolbar gives you control over headings, styling, alignment, and more. The editor background reflects your reel's theme, so you can see how text will look against your actual background.
- H1, H2: Large and small headings
- B, I, U: Bold, italic, underline
- X¹: Superscript (for trademark symbols, footnotes)
- Alignment: Left, center, right, or justified
- Lists: Bulleted or numbered
- —: Horizontal rule (dividing line)
- ": Block quote
- 🔗: Insert link
- </>: Edit HTML code
- Eraser: Clear formatting
Editing HTML directly
Click the </> button to open the code editor. This lets you fine-tune formatting or paste HTML from another source.
Click Commit changes to apply or Cancel to discard. The text block does not support iframes or scripts. Use the Iframe block for embeds.
Common questions
Why does my pasted text look wrong?
Text copied from other sources often carries hidden formatting. Use the eraser button to clear formatting, then restyle as needed.
Can I add links to my text?
Yes. Select the text you want to link and click the link icon in the toolbar. Enter the URL and save.
Why can't I embed a video or player?
The Text block doesn't support iframes or scripts. Use the Iframe block for embeds from supported services.
