How it works

The Tag Filter block displays clickable tags above your playlist. When a viewer clicks a tag, the playlist filters to show only tracks with that tag. This helps recipients find specific types of content quickly.

One Tag Filter block filters audio across all Media blocks on your reel, so you only need one.

Setting up tags

Before using the Tag Filter block, add tags to your audio tracks:

  1. Go to your Audio Library
  2. Select a track and open its details
  3. Add tags for mood, genre, instrument, tempo, or any other category

See Tags: Organize audio tracks by keyword for more on tagging.

Adding the Tag Filter block

  1. Click the + icon between blocks
  2. Select Tag Filter from the Advanced blocks section
  3. Position it above your Media block

The block automatically displays tags from the tracks in your reel's playlists.

Common questions

Which tags appear in the filter?

Only tags that exist on tracks in your reel's playlists. If a tag isn't used by any track in the reel, it won't appear.

Can viewers select multiple tags?

Yes. Clicking multiple tags filters to tracks that have all selected tags.

Does the filter work with videos, images, or files?

No. The Tag Filter block only filters audio tracks in your playlists.
