Track Notes: Add public and private notes to audio tracks
Add notes to any audio track in your library. Internal notes are private reminders for yourself. Public notes appear on reels when the track is played.

Adding notes
To add or edit notes on a track:
- Open your Audio library
- Click on a track to open its detail page
- Select the Notes tab
- Enter your notes in either field
- Click Save notes

Internal notes
Internal notes are only visible to you within the app. Use them for:
- Recording session details or project codes
- Reminders about licensing or usage restrictions
- Client or collaborator feedback
Internal notes are never shown to clients or anyone viewing your reels.
Public notes
Public notes are visible to anyone viewing your reel. Use them for:
- Track descriptions or context
- Credits or collaborator information
- Usage suggestions or technical details
Public notes set on a track apply to all reels containing that track. If you need different notes for a specific reel, you can override them in the Reel Builder when editing the Media block.
Common questions
Where do public notes appear on reels?
Public notes appear below the track title on your reel. Recipients can show or hide notes using the toggle next to the track name.
Can I use different public notes for different reels?
Yes. The notes you set on the track are the default, but you can override them on a per-reel basis when editing the Media block in the Reel Builder.
Can clients see my internal notes?
No. Internal notes are never visible to anyone except you. They're for your own reference only.
