Audio and video formats used
Audio
Any audio uploaded to ReelCrafter gets stored in its original format, whether it's WAV, AIFF, MP3, or AAC (the general formats we support). An MP3 (256Kbps CBR) is created from your original and used in your demo reels as well as demo reel downloads. Currently, it's not possible for your clients to download your originals.
Video
Video is transcoded to MP4 with a maximum bit rate of 5Mbps (in case you're wondering, 5Mbps is really good quality). Keep in mind that your video will be downsampled to 1080p. Unlike audio, we do not store the original video file.
