Profile Block: Showcase your banner, headshot, and bio

The Profile block is a versatile, advanced block available to users on the Professional plan. This block closely resembles the profile header on popular social media platforms, featuring a height-restricted banner, a circular profile photo, your name, title, and contact information. You can also include social media links and an optional short blurb about yourself.

The recommended banner size is exactly 500px tall to ensure that none of the content gets cropped off when viewed on various browser sizes. While the Profile block is ideal for providing a brief introduction, while the full biography block is recommended for longer bios.
Adding and customizing the Profile Block
Since the Profile block combines multiple elements into one block, you may want to delete or hide the logo, banner, and contact information blocks. Place the Profile block at the top of the reel for the best appearance.

  1. Hover between the existing blocks and click the + icon to add the Profile block under the Advanced Blocks.
  2. Choose your banner image (500px tall recommended) by clicking "Choose Banner" to select an existing image in your library or upload one from your computer. Replace or remove the existing banner using the "Remove Banner" or "Replace Banner" button.
  3. Add a headshot. If your default headshot is set in your Reel Settings, it will be pre-populated; or, you can override it. You can adjust the size and position of the headshot by using the slider and dragging the image with your mouse.
  4. If default contact information is set in your Reel Settings, it will be pre-populated; otherwise, you can also override it.
  5. To display social media links in the block, select the toggle to use your default links.
  6. In the text editor, add a few sentences of text (we recommend not adding too much text to this section).
Tips and best practices
  • Use a wide, narrow banner for the height-restricted space (2400 x 500 px is a good size to start with).
  • Adjust your headshot to fit within the circular shape, zooming in and positioning as needed.
  • Utilize default contact information and headshot settings to save time.
Hide the Profile Block
You can prevent the Profile block from displaying on your reel by clicking the "eye" icon at the top right of the Profile block.
