Lyrics: Adding and displaying lyrics on audio tracks

You can display lyrics on audio tracks in your reels. Add lyrics to individual tracks in your Audio Library, then enable them per-track in the Reel Builder.

Adding lyrics to a track

To add lyrics to a track in your audio library:

1. Go to your Audio Library
2. Click the track name to open its detail page
3. Select the Lyrics tab below the tag input
4. Enter the lyrics for the track

Enabling lyrics on a reel

Adding lyrics to a track doesn't automatically show them on reels. You need to enable them for each reel:

1. Open the reel in the Reel Builder
2. In the Media block containing the track, click the microphone icon next to the track name
3. Check Show lyrics on reel at the bottom of the lyrics pane
4. Save your changes

Setting lyrics to display by default

To have lyrics display by default on all new reels:

1. Go to Reel Settings → Design Defaults
2. Under Reel Options, enable the option for showing lyrics by default

This applies to new reels only. You can still adjust lyrics on a track-by-track basis in the Reel Builder.

Common questions

I added lyrics but they're not showing on my reel

Lyrics must be enabled per-reel. Open the reel in the Reel Builder, click the microphone icon on the track, and check Show lyrics on reel.

Can I edit lyrics directly in the Reel Builder?

Yes. Click the microphone icon on any track to open the lyrics panel. Changes you make there are saved to the track in your Audio Library.

Do lyrics appear on embedded players?

No. Lyrics only display on the full reel view, not on embedded audio players.
