Open Global Search

  1. Click the Global Search icon (globe + magnifying glass) in the top-right of the app, or press Cmd+K on Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows.
  2. The search panel opens in a pop-up window.

Search by keywords and/or tags

You can search by entering text/keywords, and/or choosing tags. Both of these choices are optional. Once you've entered your search keywords and tags, click Search.

How matching works

  • Keywords match names across items; track metadata is also searched automatically.
  • Tags searches do not apply to share links.
  • Using keywords + tags applies AND logic (items must match all keywords and tags, excluding share links results).
  • Tabs only appear for categories that have matches (e.g., Audio, Reels, Images, Video, Share Links).

Paste a URL to find its reel

If you have a share link URL but don’t know which reel it belongs to:

  1. Paste the full share link URL into Search keywords.
  2. Click Search.
  3. Click the result to go to the Reel Detail page. (Search results don’t take you directly to the share link editing panel.)

View and navigate results

  • Tabs & counts: Results are grouped into tabs (e.g., Audio, Reels, Images, Videos, Share Links) with counts.
  • Open the item: Click a name to open its detail page (for reels and media).
  • Open the folder: Click the folder link to jump straight to the item’s folder in the library.
  • Share link results: Clicking a share link opens the reel’s Reel Detail page (not the share link editing panel).
  • Pagination: Use Items per page and the pagination controls at the bottom when you have many results.

Good to know: Tag scope & Share Links

  • Tags don’t apply to share links. Share links aren’t taggable, so tag filters never hide or include them.
  • If your keywords match a share link’s name, it appears in results regardless of selected tags.
  • Tag filters only match items that support tags (e.g., tracks, images, videos, and reels).
  • Tag search does not search the contents of reels. In other words, if a tag search returns certain reel results, it's because those tags exist on those reels, not that the reels contain media with those tags.

Tips

  • Start with one strong keyword; add a tag if you get too many results.
  • Looking for a specific reel from a message or browser history? Paste the share link URL.
  • Results update per tab; if a tab isn’t visible, there are no matches in that category.
  • Heads-up: Folder names aren’t included in keyword matching yet.

FAQ / Troubleshooting

Why isn’t my share link showing when I filter by tag?
Share links aren’t taggable, so tag filters don’t affect them. Add a keyword that matches the share link name, or paste the share link URL.

I searched by a tag on an audio track used in a reel. Why didn’t the reel show up?
Tag searches return the tagged item (the audio track), not the reel or its share links, unless you also match the reel/share link name with keywords.

Do keywords search track metadata?
Yes. Track metadata is searched automatically.

Can I combine multiple words?
Yes. All words in Search keywords must be present (AND between words).

Keywords + tags = OR or AND?
AND. Items must match both when both are used (excluding Share Link results).

I clicked a share link; why did I land on a reel?
Share links are managed inside Reel Detail → Share Links (accordion). They don’t have standalone pages.
