Refunds & Withdrawal Rights

ReelCrafter aims to be fair and transparent about refunds. This guide explains our standard refund policies, regional withdrawal rights, and how to request a refund if something goes wrong with your account.


1. First-Time 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are new to ReelCrafter and your first paid subscription does not meet your expectations, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your first payment.

  • Applies only to your first subscription payment
  • Available once per customer/organization
  • Applies to Monthly or Annual subscriptions
  • Add-ons are included only if purchased at the same time
  • After 30 days, standard refund rules apply

2. EU/UK 14-Day Withdrawal Rights

If you live in the EU, UK, or EEA, you may have a legal right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of your first payment for a new subscription term under the EU Consumer Rights Directive or UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Notes:

  • Applies only to the start of a new subscription term
  • Does not apply to renewals
  • If you withdraw within 14 days of your first payment, you’ll receive a full refund
  • For brand-new ReelCrafter customers, our voluntary 30-day refund policy also applies and extends beyond the statutory 14-day period
  • We follow all applicable EU/UK consumer protection rules

3. Other Refund Situations

Outside the first-time guarantee and applicable withdrawal periods, refunds are not usually issued. However, if you believe a charge was made in error or there were unusual circumstances, you can contact us, and we will review the situation.

Please note:

  • Most renewals are not refundable once processed
  • We cannot refund charges older than 60 days
  • We cannot refund payments already under bank or PayPal dispute


4. How to Request a Refund

Email support@reelcrafter.com with:

  • The email address on your account
  • The approximate date of the charge
  • A short explanation of the issue
  • Whether you are requesting a first-time refund, a regional withdrawal, a billing correction, or something else

We may ask for simple identity verification for security.

Processing time:

  • Refunds usually process within 5 to 10 business days
  • Your bank or PayPal may take additional time to show the credit
  • Refunds are always returned to the original payment method

5. When a Refund Is Not Possible

Refunds generally cannot be issued if:

  • The charge is from two or more billing cycles ago
  • You used the service during the billing period and want a retroactive refund
  • You forgot to cancel before your renewal date
  • You continued to access paid features after renewal
  • The payment is already involved in a chargeback or dispute
  • The payment method no longer allows refunds

6. Add-On Refunds

Add-ons follow the same billing schedule as your main subscription.

If you need help with an add-on charge or wish to cancel an annual add-on subscription early, contact support, and we will review your request.
