File detail page
The file detail page shows information about an uploaded file and where it's used. Click any file in your File library to open its detail page. To add files to a reel, use the File Attachments block.
File storage limits vary by plan.

Actions
At the top of the page you'll find the back button, the file name (click the pencil to rename), and actions you can take.
Available actions:
- Download: Download the original file to your computer
- Move to folder: Organize the file into a folder
- Delete: Move the file to Trash

Used in reels
The Used in reels card shows which reels include this file. Click any reel name to go to that reel's detail page. This helps you understand the impact of changes or deletion before you make them.
Information
The Information card displays:
- File type: The format description and extension (e.g., "PDF Document / PDF file")
- Created: When the file was uploaded
- Last updated: When the file was last modified
- File size: The size of the file

Tags
Below the information cards you'll find the Tags section. Add tags to organize your files and use them with Smart Folders. Type to search existing tags or create new ones. For more details, see Tags.
Common questions
What happens if I delete a file that's used in a reel?
The file will be removed from any reels that use it. Check the Used in reels card before deleting to see which reels would be affected.
Can I replace a file with an updated version?
There's no direct replace function. Upload the new version as a new file, then update your reels to use it instead.
What file types can I upload?
The File library supports: PDF (.pdf), Word (.doc, .docx), Excel (.xls, .xlsx), CSV (.csv), Text (.txt), ZIP (.zip), and MIDI (.mid, .midi). For audio, video, and images, use the dedicated libraries for those media types.
