How add-ons work

Add-ons extend your account with extra functionality, like Custom Domains. They attach to your active subscription and follow the same billing cycle.

  • Add-ons renew on the same schedule as your main plan.
  • Add-ons pause or cancel when your main subscription does.
  • Removing an add-on doesn't affect your main subscription.

Billing

Add-ons are billed together with your main subscription:

  • Monthly plans: add-ons renew monthly.
  • Annual plans: add-ons renew annually.

If you're on an annual plan, your add-ons are annual too, billed upfront and pro-rated to cover the time remaining on your current annual subscription. An add-on's billing cycle follows your main plan, so you can't switch from annual to monthly until your current annual term is up.

Adding and removing add-ons

Some add-ons are added right where you use them in your account. The Custom Domain Pack, for example, is added from Account → Custom Domains.

You can review and manage your add-ons and their billing anytime under Billing → Add-ons. To remove an add-on, open that tab and select Unsubscribe.

When you remove an add-on, it stays active until the end of your current billing period, then stops.

Common questions

Do add-ons work on the Free plan?

Some add-ons require a paid subscription. Compatible add-ons show as available in your account.

Can I get a partial refund if I remove an annual add-on mid-year?

Annual add-ons are billed upfront and pro-rated to match your current annual plan. Our billing system can't process an automatic partial refund. If you need to remove an add-on early, email support@reelcrafter.com and we'll cancel it and refund the unused time.

What happens to my add-ons if I cancel?

They remain active until the end of your current billing period, then stop along with your subscription.
