Keyboard shortcuts
ReelCrafter supports keyboard shortcuts to help you work faster. Here's a quick reference for the shortcuts available throughout the app.

Global shortcuts
These shortcuts work from anywhere in the app:
- ⌘+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows): Open Global Search
Audio library
When browsing your audio library:
- Esc: Clear current selection
Snippet editor
When editing a snippet, these shortcuts help you quickly mark in and out points:
- Space: Play or pause
- I: Mark in point (set the start of your snippet at the current playhead position)
- O: Mark out point (set the end of your snippet at the current playhead position)
- [: Set region start to the beginning of the track
- ]: Set region end to the end of the track
- Delete or Backspace: Clear the current snippet region
Popup player
When the popup player is open (after clicking play on a track):
- Space: Play or pause the current track
Common questions
Can I customize keyboard shortcuts?
Not at this time. Keyboard shortcuts are fixed to the defaults listed above.
Why don't shortcuts work when I'm typing in a text field?
Keyboard shortcuts are disabled when you're focused on a text input field. Click outside the text field to re-enable them.
