Track share links with statuses

A status is a private, color-coded label you attach to a share link to track where a pitch stands, like a lightweight pipeline for your links. You might mark one link “Sent,” another “Won.”

Statuses are private to you. They’re never shown in the reel or playlist viewer and don’t change anything the recipient sees.

Share Links table with colored status pills; one link shows Set status

Where you’ll see it

Statuses live in the Share Links table on any reel or playlist detail page. Each link shows its status as a colored pill beneath the link name. A link with no status yet shows Set status. Rows that have a status also get a color strip along the left edge, in the status’s color.

Your statuses are shared across your whole account, so the same set is available on every reel and playlist.

Setting a status

There are three ways to set a status.

On an existing link

Click the status pill (or Set status) on the link’s row to open the status menu. Pick a status to apply it, or choose Clear status to remove it.

When creating a link

The new share link dialog has an optional Status field, so you can tag a link the moment you create it. It defaults to No status set

Note: This field only appears once you have at least one status set on your existing links.

On several links at once

Select multiple rows in the Share Links table, then click Set status (the layer-group icon) in the toolbar. The status you pick applies to every selected link. Choosing No status set clears the status from all of them.

Filtering by status

Open Filter by status (the funnel icon) in the toolbar to narrow the table to the statuses you care about. It’s a multi-select: pick one or more statuses, plus a No status set bucket for untagged links. Each option shows how many links it covers. The filter applies to the current reel or playlist only.

Managing your statuses

Open Manage statuses to edit the set that’s shared across your account. From here you can:

  • Add: name the status and pick a color from the palette
  • Rename: edit the name inline (empty and duplicate names aren’t allowed)
  • Recolor: choose a new color
  • Reorder: drag statuses by the handle to change their order
  • Delete: remove a status you no longer need

Because statuses are shared account-wide, renaming, recoloring, or deleting one changes it on every reel and playlist.

One status you can’t edit: Won is built in. It shows grayed out with a lock icon, and it can’t be renamed or deleted. You can still add, rename, recolor, and delete your own statuses around it.

Deleting a status

Deleting a status doesn’t delete the links attached to it. If you delete a status that’s assigned to links, you’ll see a confirmation: “This status is assigned to N share links — they’ll be moved to no status.” Those links just lose the status.

Common questions

Can recipients see the status I set?

No. Statuses are private to you. They never appear in the reel or playlist viewer and don’t affect anything the recipient sees or does.

What’s the difference between a status and the Active toggle?

Active controls whether a link works for recipients. Status is your own private label for tracking where the pitch stands. They’re unrelated.

Do statuses apply to one reel or all of them?

Your status names and colors are shared across your whole account, so the same set is available everywhere. Renaming or deleting a status changes it on every reel and playlist. The status assigned to a given link, though, is specific to that link.

What happens to my links if I delete a status?

The links aren’t deleted. Any link that had that status is moved to no status.

Why can’t I rename or delete “Won”?

Won is a built-in system status, so it’s locked. You can add, rename, and delete your own statuses alongside it.
