Video Library: Managing your videos
The Video Library is where you store and organize all your videos, both uploaded files and linked YouTube/Vimeo videos. From here you can preview videos, organize them into folders, and add them to your reels.

Navigating the library
Click Videos in the left navigation to open your Video Library. The library has two panels:
- Folders panel (left): Shows your folder structure. Click a folder to view its contents. "Unfiled" shows videos not in any folder.
- Videos panel (right): Shows videos in the selected folder. Use the search icon to filter by name, or switch between list and grid view.
Adding videos
Use the icons in the top-right corner to add videos:
- Upload icon: Upload video files from your computer (Professional plan, 80GB storage)
- Link icon: Add linked videos from YouTube or Vimeo

Single video actions
Click a video row to select it, or click the three-dot menu to access actions. Available actions depend on whether the video is uploaded or linked:
For uploaded videos
- View: Open the video detail page
- Choose thumbnail: Select from auto-generated thumbnails or upload a custom image
- Download: Download the transcoded video file (MP4)
- Rename: Change the video name
- Move to folder: Organize into a folder
- Delete: Move to Trash
For linked videos (YouTube/Vimeo)
- View: Open the video detail page
- View on YouTube/Vimeo: Open the original video on the hosting platform
- Resync: Update title, duration, and thumbnail from the source
- Rename: Change the video name in ReelCrafter
- Move to folder: Organize into a folder
- Delete: Move to Trash
Bulk actions
Select multiple videos using the checkboxes, then use the action bar that appears:
- Edit tags: Add or remove tags from all selected videos at once
- Move: Move all selected videos to a folder
- Delete: Move all selected videos to Trash
Tip: You can select videos from different folders. Use Review selection to see everything you've selected.
Common questions
How many videos can I have?
Linked videos: Free (3), Starter (10), Professional (unlimited). Uploaded videos require the Professional plan with 80GB storage included.
What's the difference between uploaded and linked videos?
Uploaded videos are stored on ReelCrafter and provide detailed analytics and custom thumbnails. Linked videos are hosted on YouTube or Vimeo and embedded on your reels. See Adding linked videos for details.
Where can I see which reels use a video?
Click the video to open its detail page. The "Used in Reels" section shows all reels containing that video.
How do I change a video's thumbnail?
For uploaded videos, click Choose thumbnail in the three-dot menu. For linked videos, change the thumbnail on YouTube or Vimeo, then use Resync.
Can I download linked videos?
No. Linked videos are hosted on their original platform. Use View on YouTube/Vimeo to access the original.
